Adverse Effects of Pesticides - SNAP Looking for Documented Evidence

There is not yet any mandatory Canadian or Saskatchewan reporting for adverse effects to pesticides. The new Federal Pest Control Products Act, when it will come into effect, makes it mandatory for the pesticide companies to report negative health effects related to their own products, but excludes complaints about the effectiveness of products.  As has been for drugs, there is no mandatory reporting of negative health effects by health practitioners, who are the most likely to encounter them.

SNAP is interested in collecting documented pesticide exposure and.or negative health effects stories to eventually write a report about (names
of individuals would not be released)
