A Better Alternative...

SNAP's mission is to work towards environmental sustainability in Saskatchewan by promoting better understanding of the impact of pesticides (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, etc) on health and environment, greater awareness and availability of alternatives for controlling pests, diseases and weeds, and significant reductions in pesticide use.

Regina

The fall herbicide program is starting on Thursday, 31 July 2014.

Check the City of Regina Pesticide Line at 306 777-7777 to get the latest spray schedule.

Wascana Center Authority  To be added to the notification list, phone the Wascana office at 306-522-3661. You will get weekly emails with the schedule for the upcoming week. List of the current year pesticide spraying schedules. This link also has the 2014 and 2013 schedules. It is under the news item on WCA's web site.

I personally avoid Wascana during the spray season. But if you go and get sick, here is what you should do

Prince Albert

Prince Albert moved its spraying notices in 2020. We can hope they post for 1 day after spraying but it has apparently never been done. There will be apparently be less spraying this year due to staffing, and they're planning to look into the steam options for weed control.
